Post a pacing ask. Find the person who can hold it.

Cadence is the online aggregator for human pacing. Individuals, teams and clubs, and race organizers post what they need; pacers browse the board and apply.

Why Cadence exists

Pacing asks are everywhere. The market should be in one place.

A runner chasing a Boston qualifier, a mile PR, or a controlled long run needs more than a pace chart. They need another person who can run the plan, stay calm, and show up.

Today that match is usually hidden in club emails, Facebook groups, coach networks, Instagram stories, timing-company contacts, and who happens to know whom. Cadence makes the asks visible, searchable, and actionable.

How it works

Turn a goal into a pacing commitment.

Post the effort

Choose your lane, describe the effort, set the goal, and add a volunteer or paid amount.

Review the match

Pacers apply, or athletes request a listed pacer. Both sides see the proposed amount before accepting.

Book through Cadence

Accept the fit and pay securely. Cadence keeps 15%; Stripe sends the other 85% to the pacer.

Personal pacing

Post the race, workout, or time trial you want paced and let available pacers find the ask.

Get started

Start in the lane that fits.

Create one account, choose what you want to do first, and add other roles whenever you need them. Every request, offer, and pace-team slot stays tied to that account.

Plan the pace

Price the effort before anyone commits.

Estimate splits and a fair offer from the distance, goal, and strategy. The math does not replace the pacer; it makes the ask clear.
